The foundational knowledge everyone in construction should know.
Most engineers, supervisors, and HSEs are never taught how cranes really work.
Level 1 closes that gap, giving you the core skills to read load charts, understand lift plans, and communicate with operators on site.
It’s online, self-paced, and designed to give you the confidence to make safer, smarter decisions around lifting.

TEAM TRAINING
Crane Class is designed to for tier-one project teams.
Our most impactful results come when whole teams learn together.
Projects run smoother, lifts are safer, and communication improves dramatically when everyone shares the same crane knowledge.
The Same Language
In crane operations, miscommunication costs time, money, and safety. Engineers, supervisors, and operators often read plans differently. Crane Class unites teams with a shared vocabulary and approach so everyone works with confidence.
The Same Story
Cranes affect more than the crew. Supervisors, engineers, HSE, and commercial teams all shape the success of a lift. With everyone aligned, lifts are safer, smoother, and more predictable.
The Same Page
Teams change. People move on. New grads step in. Crane Class keeps knowledge consistent across your organisation so every lift is held to the same high standard.

Meet Liam Edwards
Heavy Lift Engineer & Founder of Crane Class
Liam’s experience draws on a career delivering industry-defining lifts in infrastructure and wind energy.
From LR 11350s in Taiwan and LG 1750's in Australia to BMS’s 3000t Ring Crane in Denmark, Liam planned and executed lifts with the largest cranes on land.
Liam’s work has earned industry honours, including the 2024 CICA Lift of the Year Award and Bill Shaw Memorial Trophy for Excellence.
After a decade on tier-one projects, Liam saw the same issue again and again: a lack of crane knowledge holding back engineers, supervisors, and safety teams.
Crane Class was built to close that gap.
Driven by a passion for sharing knowledge, Liam founded Crane Class to provide the practical, hands-on education he wished existed when he started.
